I'm a landscape photographer from Birmingham, United Kingdom, now residing on the beautiful island of Tasmania. I combine both my love for travel and photography to capture everyday treasured moments in nature.
I studied traditional photography in 2002, hand developing photographs in the darkroom, which is when I discovered my joy for taking photos and the process of observing and finding beauty in everyday situations. Still to this day I try to keep a bit of substance from the darkroom days by printing all my photographs on Canson Platine Fibre Rag, which gives the aesthetic look and feel of the original darkroom paper.
Over the years I've been developing my photographic style and looking at life with curiosity, openness and staying present whilst allowing creativity to flow. Now, that I've found my unique style, a lot of my work has been on capturing Tasmanian seascapes and taking the viewer on a journey, experiencing the calmness you feel at sea.
Please take pleasure in viewing my images and allow yourself to drift away...
